I also have the KXPD3 and have the same observations.
I also ordered the  Begali Adventure this weekend but it is backordered.  
They should be  available again in a couple of weeks.
Look forward to my next Begali to add to my Stealth and Sculpture  
collection!

I have  the Begali Adventure serial #2.  To me the Begali has much  better
ergonomics than the Elecraft paddle.  When  attached it  angles up not
pointing down and can be swiveled to any angle you  desire.  When I used the
KXPD3 I had to prop up the KX3 so my fingers  were not hitting the table,

so with the Begali.  As to feel of the  key.........It's a BEGALI!  For

me the size and weight  difference is minimal.
