Interesting discussion. If you _want_ to learn CW you _can_do it. I started when was 50 and had suffered minor brain damage from years of heart disease 'episodes' as UK doctors call them. It has been a struggle but well worth it. Electronic decode is not the same and does not work well with hand coded Morse.
