The major audio volume problem turned out to be the one that N5GE mentioned--there was a crack in the knob, so fine that I did not see it until I used a flashlight directly on the knob. The folks at Elecraft told me to look, and there it was. I have new knobs now, all is well.
I do not know why I had the change in volume after a T/R switchover, but that problem seems to have gone away, so I cannot cure it. That is one reason that a surgeon tries to operate as soon as he/she gets a case--the patient may get better without the operation if you wait too long. 73, Jan, KX2A ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[email protected] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
