I did not use the PR6 but a 6 meter pre amp L50LNA from Downeast microwave. I had this DEMI pre amp before the purchase of K3.
The DEMI 6m pre amp L50LNA is also a good choice. I just connected it to the back using the bnc barrel connectors that came with it. Seems very secure, but I would probably remove it when transporting the rig. Makes a huge difference on receive.
