The howto is actually a good idea. Please contribute your way to accomplish filtering using gmail, thunderbird, outlook and whatever else you have set up. If you reply with your contribution to this mail, it should be easily searchable in the mailing list archives. Maybe Eric could also collect the suggestions and post them on the Elecraft website.
