I'll be joining the K6SRA Field Day extravaganza again this year (3A, SCV), at Henry Coe State Park (CA). I'm bringing my son Griffin (first FD -- age 7) who decided he'd rather do FD with me than go to a wedding with his mom. He's going to help out with antennas and operating when he's not stalking lizards and shooting the unaware with his water pistol.
Meanwhile, I'm hoping to log a lot of hours on the KX3, including a few QSOs hand-held using a whip.
