Regarding machine screw sizes, American Standard.
Screw numbers start out at o which has an OD of .060 inch. Each
successive number has .013
inch added to it to arrive at its OD. Thus a number 1 screw has an OD of .073
inch, a number 2 screw
has an OD of .086 inch, and so on . Hope I presented this well.....
