I'm using my old Pro Set iC (it is an electret, so I switch on power to it) which works great with the K3. Use a foot switch into the back. I sold the Heil iC adaptor since the mic plugs into the back panel and I use a 1/4" to miniature adaptor on the front for the headphones. I also use a Heil desk mike for casual operating (another electret element), and it plugs into the front panel mic jack and I use the K3 setup to switch between front and rear mic. 73 de, W3OU Steve
