Good Evening,
It has been very soggy. Lots of fog rain and now the real thing; in
buckets. The new ditching dug this summer will be tested on its way down the
mountain. I drove into town earlier and the road is developing a lot of
drainage systems right down the middle. I think they should have graded the
gravel before the first rains. However, the rainy season is very early.
Summer started very late and now it has gone again. I have been checking and
the locals are reporting very bad fruit crops. Apple trees have only one or
two fruit per tree. Raspberries are only now being harvested. Corn has
tassled out but a long way from harvest.
Propagation on twenty meters had strong QSB but when the signal was there it
was very good. From what I have read folks further east were effected by the
deep QSB too during the QRP field event. When I scanned the news on Space
Weather I found we are about to have the largest sunspot in quite some time
start spewing flares. M class are predicted within the next day or so. Should
be an interesting week propagation-wise and for those who enjoy aurora borealis
(or australis for that matter).

Please join us tomorrow afternoon and evening.
