In the K3/100, what happens if I accidentally key into an open or short circuit, or less drastically into a relatively high SWR (e.g. 5:1). Is there an automatic power cutback? Or do I just get HI CUR / HI SWR warnings but no automatic protection from my dumb errors.
If it is the latter case, how "dangerous" would an open circuit be? I have been known to think I was on the dummy load switch position when it was really an open circuit position. I have also keyed into a shorted coax going to a dummy load. (Not yet with the K3, it is brand new.) I have tried to search the forum and the manual to find a discussion of this. Probably right under my eyes.
