HI. again....
Well, I got it finished on Thursday, and haven't had much time to do anything else but play! This is one awesome radio. So far, I've worked a little NAQP, and a bunch of SSB. This afternoon, I hit Venezuela, and a moble in Italy. Not bad on 10 watts. I am still exploring, and having a ball! Anyone want to buy a Kenwood TS-570D(G), real nice rig. I have the KPA3 on order and it should be here Tuesday, Opps, club meeting Tuesday nite. Oh, well. I'm Pres so I have to be there. I can't say enough about the quality and fit of 99 and 44/100 of this kit. I only had two small snags, and they went together with a little fussing and loosening of screws until everything was aligned. The setup and calibration went smoothly. This is my first Elecraft kit, but not my last! I will fix the rattle in the phone washer when I take the front panel off to install the DVR, soon.
