Hi Jim, Tks ur response. 1)As you repeatedly press the PRE/ATT button the annunciator moves predictably between PRE --- ATT --- and extinguishment, so do not think that solder bridge is the problem, however, if for example you switch off when the annunciator is indicating ATT or is extinguished when you switch on againthe annunciator is always indicating PRE.
2) Have explored the alternative side tone sources but to no avail --- Still looking!!!
