Hello everyone. I am hoping that someone will be able to help me with quite an obscure rendering problem which is illustrated by a screenshot that I've just uploaded in the photos section.
The avagraha is admittedly unused in bengali but necessary for sanskrit. The following text শà§à¦°à§ à¦à§à¦¤à¦¨à§à¦¯à¦®à¦¨à§à¦½à¦à§à¦·à§à¦à¦ সà§à¦¥à¦¾à¦ªà¦¿à¦¤à¦ যà§à¦¨ à¦à§à¦¤à¦²à§ । সà§à¦½à§à¦ à¦à¦¦à¦¾ মহà§à¦¯à¦ দদাতি সà§à¦¬ পদানà§à¦¤à¦¿à¦à¦®à§ ॥ works okay-ish in notepad (although it is a bit too small) but when copied and pasted into OO.org Writer it disappears. Why might this be? Would there be any way of getting this to render properly and for the sizes to match up? Also is there any way of stopping windows from using Vrinda (or whatever that ugly windows XP default font is called) and selecting my own. By editing the registry perhaps?
