In windows, I now know from ekushey site, how to install keyboard layouts even which is not installed in my system. I can install the layout by downloading the layout installer file, running the exe file and select the layout using control panel. But the same I do not know in Linux. So, I am using from the layout which is in built with ubuntu. I have found only two bengali keyboard layouts in ubuntu and one of which is Probhat. I am using that layout with an intention to match the layout both in win and linux (otherwise I am fond of Unijoy layout, but do not know how to install that layout in ubuntu). In this case the keyboard layout is not at all matching.
What is the problem?

As far I know both Probhat layouts are same. The one came with Ubuntu
doesn't have KhandaTa. Else everything is same. Are you sure you
downloaded Probhat?
