mr. Omi,but the char 'dari' which we get in avro and also in hasin vy's script increases the line space which does not look good.
Zakir,
The main problem is all people cannot know all the technical things. Please have a look at here.
So what happens with Windows, the Daari or Danda or Whatever always comes from Hindi font Mangal. Even you delete the font, you won't get any more Daari. If you use FireFox, you can set a Bangla font for displaying Hindi (Devanagari) characters. That sorts the problem a bit, else wait for the hell OS Vista. The problem is not there. Vista's script processor detects the previous font face and calls the Danda from there.
But the problem still remains. Say in Linux. All the UI texts comes from 2 fonts, Sans and Serif. Those 2 fonts has all the scripts of this planet. So how about Danda? You know that Hindi Danda and Bangladeshi Daari are not same. The argument still going on with Unicode and God knows what will happen. If they don't listen to us, we have nothing to do as we don't get any inspiration from our government or related body.
So, sorry Brother.
Omi
