Yes, I think it has helped. I opened my firewall to range 5000:5100/udp and now I can hear my echo when calling [EMAIL PROTECTED] I first mistakingly thought that only port 5060 was required for listening but the whole range 5000:5100 is apparently needed. It isn't very clear for me (and maybe others) on http://wiki.ekiga.org/index.php/Internet_ports_used_by_Ekiga what a software firewall has to allow for incoming traffic. It says "The main port listening for incoming connections in Ekiga for SIP is port 5060 (UDP),...", because of this I thought that only that port had to be opened for incoming traffic. And also "STUN 3478-3479 UDP Outgoing traffic to the STUN server": that's for the incoming ports for the STUN server, right? (My Mandriva firewall allows every outgoing connection (I think) so that's not a problem.)
