I don't think so. Skype created their own secret protocol so that they could lock users into their network. The best bet is to get Skype users to switch to Gizmo http://gizmoproject.com/. Why? Because it's as easy to use and install as Skype if they're afraid of technology and it uses standard open protocols. Some people on this list have reported using Ekiga to interact with Gizmo users.
