Hello,
I'm testing out how to install ltsp-pnp using the recently revised guide at:

https://help.ubuntu.com/community/UbuntuLTSP/ltsp-pnp

A student of mine has had the no-unity trouble just with the purple stock
background problem for a few days.

My vm at work with an install of ltsp-pnp using the guide and an ubuntu
desktop iso boots a client with an working unity desktop so I thought I'd
look at his setup and figure out what is wrong...

Now, at home, I have just finished a second ltsp-pnp server install and my
pxe booted vm client is missing the Unity menu bar on the top and left...
I can create folders, open a terminal and run programs and browse internet.

Also, rather than make the alterations for no DNS as explained in the
readme I have edited the /etc/resolvconf/resolv.conf.d/head file and added
"nameserver 192.168.1.254". DNS issues are resolved even after reboots and
I don't think this is the cause for the missing Unity interface in the
client.

So, I'm back to having Unilty troubles in Clients...

Does anyone have a suggestion?

Thank you very much, Jim
