Hi Gavin, in fact I'm using the IP 10.16.1.5 instead of the hostname, pinging the edubuntu machine works from whichever machine i use. To me it seems like there would be some kind of firewall blocking access or a limitation of the tftp server to serving its dhcp-clients. but i didn't configure anything like that... -- jan
