I have a Ubuntu desktop system and am trying to run a Xensource live demo CD. I burnt the iso image on an  XP machine using cdburnerxp. It would seem that grub can't see the CD :

grub> configfile /dev/rdc

Error 12: invalid device requested.

But in a terminal window ls -la /dev/fdc gives the iso file name and permissions


any ideas please?
