The thing that troubles me, is that it is random. Any machine at any given time(mostly the majority), gives this problem?

I wanted to say that I have/had the same problem as well. This happens
before mounting nfs, doesn't it?
Ogra: This was the issue I had shortly before dapper release, where
you told me I am not using a standard conf so it's not your problem ;)
