Just wondering what thin clients folks are using these days.
We're in
the market for pxeboot-capable devices to use in conjunction with an
Edubuntu server. The one we keep coming back to is the NTAVO NTA
6020P (http://www.ntavo.com/ntaterminal.php). Has anyone else used
this device or another like it?
Thanks,
We are using HP t5125 at the moment.
Picture of it in action: http://users.lichtsnel.nl/~spacey/?p=206
Look really slick and work perfectly. Prices range in 200-300 euro a
piece. Including keyboard and mouse.
This week we even discovered it has a speaker build in. So you can
hear
the Ubuntu sound :P
I had seen those on the HP site, but they're about twice what we're
looking to spend for this school project. Of course, it comes with
some extra niceties that aren't needed for our application. :)
Another poster replied off-list with mention of the Ndiyo project.
Does anyone know if they are still scheduled to release the hardware
soon?
http://www.ndiyo.org
Thanks,
