Hi All,
I don't like the way the welcome screen works. It:
- Always displays the same wrong date and time
- does not react to the Enter key after filling in username and password
(you are forced to grab the mouse and click)
- always speaks English
- does not react to the menu choices
After logging off (either from the Student Control Panel or locally) you
never can re-logon.
It does not shut down the workstation after logging off. You have to
press the power button for 5 seconds.
After wading through all kinds of rc init scripts I finally found the
guilty files: gtk and greeter.glade. Is someone working on these issues,
or should I also "diveintopython" and try to improve the welcome screen?
