Public bug reported: GIMP has introduced HiDPI support a while back and provides Icon Theme in the settings.
I have a 4K display set to 2x scaling. GIMP starts by default with tiny icons (Guess icon size from resolution in Preferences). If I change this to "Use icon size from the theme" - the icons get a bit large, but still too small to see properly. Then, there is "Custom icon size" settings with available choices of Small/Medium/Large/Huge. >From these choices, Medium get the largest (but still small icons), where both >Large and Huge are the same as Small. Is the problem with Large/Huge icons not actually shipped?
