Same problem on Ubuntu 17.10 (and already 17.04). Since the original bug report, unrar (free) has been renamed as unrar-free and unrar-nonfree is now unrar. None include libunrar.so. The lib isn't packaged independantly either.
As the unrar-nonfree is tagged as "fix released", I assume it's a regression? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Edubuntu Bugsquad, which is subscribed to calibre in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/390263 Title: Calibre can not unrar files To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/calibre/+bug/390263/+subscriptions _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~edubuntu-bugs Post to : edubuntu-bugs@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~edubuntu-bugs More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
