Tested with a clean user session (guest account). Saving a file and accessing it in nautilus indeed shows freemind as the file type but it's associated to gedit, not freemind.
So fixing the Exec path is definitely part of the fix but isn't the only fix needed to get the mime/type associated properly to freemind. ** Tags removed: verification-needed ** Tags added: verification-failed -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Edubuntu Bugsquad, which is subscribed to freemind in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/883008 Title: No file association for .mm files To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/freemind/+bug/883008/+subscriptions _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~edubuntu-bugs Post to : edubuntu-bugs@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~edubuntu-bugs More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
