Hi Michael, It depends on what version of Oracle that you have that will give you the number of flex fields. Indeed in POI (i think inbound) the _ext are the flex fields. What you have to be careful of is that there is only like 8 flex fields (if I remember) and usually the business will have used some of those flex fields already for other processes. So it's best together with the DBA and Order Management Biz Analyst to go over what flex fields are available for you to use for EDI. I also say to use as little as possible since you can't really extend the flex fields without doing customized Oracle programming to ensure the flex field values are transferred from doc to doc. I hope that helps. I'll have to look up my POI documentation from my last mapping gig to see what the specific fields and record numbers are assuming that you are using the e-commerce gateway.
