Looking for a consultant to help out on a 6 mo. EDI dev. Project in Omaha
Nebraska with a major Insurance client.

Major Job Function
The candidate will create, test and implement mappings, pipelines,
orchestrations, custom functions and utilize other EDI capabilities such as
adapters, BRE and BAM. The candidate will also develop and maintain C# .NET
applications using Visual Studio.
1. Work with customers, project managers, analysts and developers to develop
XML mapping documents from HIPAA 5010 837I, 837P and 837D schemas
2. Follow software dev process and create necessary artifacts and metrics to
ensure process compliance.
3. Dev detailed specs and create positional flat file schemas and maps from
mainframe copybooks and map EDI and XML formats to the positional flat file
schemas from specifications.
4. Create and execute pipelines, orchestrations, custom functions and utilize
all appropriate features to implement robust solutions.
5. Create and execute detailed unit testing and assist in the development of
test plans.
6. Create change control / installation packages and project documentation

5. 6. Knowledge of X12 HIPAA 5010 transactions (notably the 837I, 837P, 837D,
270/271).
7. Experience with Foresight’s Instream EDI validation, EDISIM and HIPAA
validator tools a plus.
8. Exp using Visual Studio Team System for work item tracking, source code
management and unit testing required.
