There are several ways this can be done. Do you have SAP as your backend?
If you use SAP, then you could use some pass through fields in either control
or header records and use them on the way back.
If you don't have SAP, then you could store the info in either AI c-tree
databases and retrieve the info or use a regular RDBMS and write a generic DB
utility to collect data on inbound traffic and retrieve data for outbound
traffic. You could accomplish this by embedding a dynamic language like Python
inside AI using dapi and use the power of Python to easily insert and retrieve
the info from an RDBMS.
