A postdoctoral position is available at the lab of Elad Chiel, the University of Haifa, Israel (at Oranim campus, in Tivon), for a period of 2-3 years.
The research is about interactions between parasitic wasps and their microbial symbionts, and will include various bioassays with insects, molecular techniques, microscopy, and more. Preference will be given to independent, motivated candidates, with background in entomology as well as molecular biology and bioinformatic methods.
