Dear Colleagues, Announcing a workshop at AGU in December: "Enhancing measurements of pCO2 in freshwaters using high frequency in situ sensors: options and best practices"
AGU FALL MEETING 2018 SCIENTIFIC WORKSHOP Enhancing measurements of pCO2 in freshwaters using high frequency in situ sensors: options and best practices DESCRIPTION Join us for a full day scientific workshop bringing together aquatic and terrestrial biogeochemists, hydrologists, sensor developers, and vendors, to discuss the current state of pCO2 sensing and make recommendations to develop an aquatic pCO2 sensor network analogous to eddy flux networks on land. Workshop activities will include a series of presentations on research using different sensors, group discussion and breakout sessions on scientific opportunities and best practices, and vendor presentations on commercial sensors. To learn more and register, visit: <fallmeeting.agu.org/2018/scientific-workshops/>. FINANCIAL SUPPORT Awards of $100 are available to student, postdoc, and early career scientists to help offset the cost of attending the workshop. Awards will be given on a first come, first served basis. To apply, please send an email with your name, institution, and role to Wil Wollheim <wil.wollh...@unh.edu>.
