My local library has several 3D printers available to the public at no
charge, and I’d like to print off replica mammal skulls for a personal
reference collection. I can’t afford Bone Clones and don’t have access to a
museum collection, so 3D printing seems like the best option.

Trouble is, I’m having a hard time finding .stl files available online, and
the few I’ve been able to locate have been widely scattered. Can anyone
recommend a site with a broad spectrum of files for mammal skulls? There are a
few on Thingiverse, but I’m really looking for ready-to-print files taken from
scans of museum specimens. Fossil hominids would be especially welcome, but
I’m open to skulls from a wide range of mammal species.

Please message me off-list with any suggestions, with my thanks in advance.

                 - J. A.
