CSU Dominguez Hills, Department of Biology offers an exciting opportunity for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Marine Biology, beginning August 2019. We are seeking a marine biologist who can teach biology and conduct research with undergraduates and Master’s students. Teaching responsibilities may include general education, introductory biology, non-majors courses, as well as upper-division and graduate courses in the candidate’ss specialty. The position requires the establishment of an active independent research program, as well as service to the university. The candidate will be encouraged to develop a collaborative partnership with COAST (CSU Council on Ocean Affairs, Science and Technology). The candidate may have the opportunity to work with the Center for Innovation in STEM Education (CISE) to innovate K-16 education. The Biology Program at CSU Dominguez Hills is designed to provide students with intensive progressive and balanced learning experiences in cell and molecular biology, organismal biology, population and community biology, and environmental science.
