The Northeast Oregon Ecology Program is looking for two motivated individuals with experience in plant ID for the 2019 field season. A background or interest in plant pathology would be a plus, but not necessary. Primary duties include collecting data on long term whitebark pine blister rust plots and surveying for potentially resistant WBP individuals in and adjacent to the Eagle Cap Wilderness in the Wallowa Mountains, Oregon. Other duties will include collecting data on long-term fir fire and ecology monitoring plots, surveying for sensitive species, and wor working on various other projects as needed.
