The International Network for Seed-based Restoration (INSR) was chartered as a thematic section of SER in December 2015. We have since grown to over 400 members and 48 partner organizations from more than 40 countries, representing seed-based restoration from many corners of the world.
As part of the cycle of leadership for INSR, there are 3 positions open on the INSR Board: Chair Elect, At-Large-Director #3, and At-Large-Director #4. More details, instructions, and the nomination forms are at: http://ser-insr.org/insr-bylaws/ The period for nominations is September 20 through October 10, 2018. Board member terms are 2 years (2019-2020). Board meetings are held every 5 weeks by teleconference. Among many activities, the board supports the network through news items, organizing symposia, and providing information resources, including webinars. We welcome suggestions of new initiatives from our membership. Please consider running for a position to serve and expand the seed-based restoration community.
