Call for 2019 MarineGEO Postdoctoral Fellowship Proposals

The Smithsonian’s Tennenbaum Marine Observatories Network (TMON) invites 
proposals for the 
MarineGEO Postdoctoral Fellowship Program. Proposals should advance the goals 
of the Marine 
Global Earth Observatory (MarineGEO), a Smithsonian-led worldwide research 
collaboration 
dedicated to understanding changes in and relationships among the biodiversity, 
structure, and 
functioning of coastal marine ecosystems at local to global scales using 
comparative approaches. To

The 2019 MarineGEO Postdoctoral Fellowship is a two-year fellowship that 
specifically addresses the 
goals of the Smithsonian’s MarineGEO program. Proposals must focus on 
comparative research 
across habitats and/or geographic scales utilizing MarineGEO observatories. In 
particular, proposed 
projects should address one of the following MarineGEO priorities.
1.      Environmental-biodiversity coupling
2.      Ecosystem processes and functioning
3.      Coordinated networked experiment
