The Department of Biology at Bryn Mawr College invites applications for 
a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor position in the area of 
Immunology to begin August 1, 2019. We are searching for a broadly 
trained individual whose immunological expertise will support programs 
in Biology, Biochemistry & Molecular Biology and Health Studies. The 
successful candidate will thrive in an environment that combines 
teaching, research and interdisciplinary collaboration, establishing an 
externally funded research program that includes involvement of 
undergraduate students of diverse backgrounds. Teaching responsibilities 
will include courses in immunology and in the candidate’s area of 
expertise, participation in the team-taught introductory biology 
sequence, and regular contributions to the Health Studies minor. 
Candidates who have the potential to contribute to the Neuroscience or 
Environmental Studies minor and/or other College initiatives are 
especially encouraged to apply. A Ph.D. and at least one year of post-
doctoral research experience are required by the start date. 

Please note that areas of research expertise may include, but are not 
limited to, immunology, neuro-immunology, eco-immunology, or host 
immunological response to pathogens or parasite exposure.
