We seek a new Editor to join the editorial board of Reviews of Geophysics in
the field of Biogeosciences, with a focus on biogeosciences of the Earth system
in the past, present, and future, and the extension of this research to
planetary studies. This additional position will expand the editorial board
from five to six. Applicants should be dynamic, well-organized,
independent-minded, and even-handed scientists with robust knowledge in this
field. Previous editorial experience is preferable but not necessary. As Editor
you should be committed to strengthening Reviews of Geophysics as the leading
journal in the field of geophysics, and be proactive in attracting innovative
contributions. This will involve promoting the journal, especially at
conferences you attend, and helping to write highlights of selected papers
published in the journal. We hold regular teleconferences throughout the year,
as well as a full editorial board meeting at the Fall AGU Meeting, to discuss
management and strategic goals of the journal.

As Editor, you will receive a stipend, travel budget, free access to all AGU
journals, and free registration and a delicious Editor’s dinner at the Fall AGU
Meeting. For more information pertaining to Reviews of Geophysics scope and
review procedures, please read the Editorial at http://rdcu.be/HVTt/.

The search committee is committed to diversity and highly encourages women and
minorities to apply. International applicants are welcome. If you would like to
be considered for this position with Reviews of Geophysics, please send your
curriculum vitae with a letter of interest via email to
pubmatt...@agu.org<mailto:pubmatt...@agu.org>.

If you would like to nominate a highly qualified colleague, then please send a
