River turtle movement ecologist needed to deliver a robust assessment of river turtle movements, use of space and occupancy along 370 km of rivers in the Brazilian State of Amapá.
Using state of the art GPS telemetry integrated with sophisticated spatial analyses the ideal candidate will be able to provide insight necessary to develop effective options for species conservation and sustainable development along Amazon rivers threatened by hydroelectric expansion and gold mining. We offer a monthly salary of up to R$ 2,200.00 (depending on candidate experience and qualification). This is a fixed term 12 month contract, with the possibility of extension (depending on performance and funding availability).
