The Department of Biology at Kutztown University invites applications for one full-time temporary faculty position for the 2018-2019 academic year to teach major and non-major courses, including Zoology labs, and possibly including a course in the applicant's field of expertise. Preference will be given to applicants with expertise in aquatic biology and/or experience with aquatic invertebrates. In accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement, performance review and evaluation of faculty is based on effective teaching and fulfillment of professional responsibilities; continuing scholarly growth; and service. Required: a Ph.D. in Biology or related field. One year of college-level teaching experience or equivalent required; additional teaching experience and/or experience teaching biology is preferred. There is also the possibility of engaging in student/faculty research. Successful interview and demonstration of relevant ability required. Salary competitive.
