The Edward J. Meeman Biological Station encompasses more than 250 ha on the 
Mississippi River Valley and West Tennessee Coastal Plain physiographic region 
transition 
zone and is located near the Mississippi River, 25 miles north of vibrant 
downtown 
Memphis, TN.
