This is an update to the Digital Data in Biodiversity Research conference, being held at UC Berkeley, 4-6 June 2018 and co-sponsored with iDigBio.

In addition to the five workshops on Wednesday, 6 June, we have added a field trip to Point Reyes National Seashore. We can accommodate up to 16 participants on this trip at a participant cost of $25.00. We have also arranged an opportunity for a self-guided tour of the UC Botanical Garden, with free admission for the 6^th , only. Descriptions for these activities are available on the wiki (https://www.idigbio.org/wiki/index.php/Digital_Data_in_Biodiversity_Research_Conference,_Berkeley#Wednesday.2C_6_June_2018 <https://www.idigbio.org/wiki/index.php/Digital_Data_in_Biodiversity_Research_Conference,_Berkeley%23Wednesday.2C_6_June_2018>) and announcement page (https://www.idigbio.org/content/registration-now-open-emerging-innovations-biodiversity-data). Please note that the Point Reyes trip is all day and overlaps with the workshops.

To select the field trip when registering, scroll down the registration box to the bottom of the list and select the optional field trip before checking out. Only those registered for the conference may register for the field trip.

*IMPORTANT NOTE: The deadline for abstract submission is 30 April and you must be registered to submit. Once registered, you will receive an email directing you to the abstract submission form. Due to capacity issues, please register and submit your abstract at your earliest convenience.*
