[ECOLOG-L] Literature on effects of uncharacteristic wildfires on endangered and threatened species

Hello All,

I'm looking for peer-reviewed articles or nonprofit conservation organization or public agency papers on the impacts of uncharacteristic (i.e., larger and high-intensity) wildfires have on endangered or threatened species or biodiversity in general. Please send citations if you have them.

I'm finding a lot on prescribed burn impacts on biodiversity, but not a lot on the kind of massively destructive fires such as the southern California fires we have this year (and over the last decade).
