The discussion group "Ecocentric Alliance (EC) http://ecocentricalliance.org/ established in 2015 is pleased to announce the birth of an ecocentric on-line journal "The Ecological Citizen" where the guiding philosophy of ecocentrism is explored by a wide variety of authors. The first issue (116 pages) is now available as a free-to-access journal that can be viewed and downloaded at http://ecologicalcitizen.net/issue.php?i=Vol+1+No+1. The Ecocentric Alliance maintains a supporting sister web site dedicated to ecocentrism. This includes several dozen historical and current readings on ecocentrism (texts at http://www.ecospherics.net/). Included at this site is the "Manifesto for Earth" now available in seven languages.

On March 27 the Ecocentric Alliance also started a sign-on document whose introductory sentence reads: We, the undersigned, hold and advocate an ecocentric worldview that finds intrinsic (inherent) value in all of nature and the Ecosphere ” SIGN ON HERE:http://www.ecologicalcitizen.net/statement-of-ecocentrism.php <http://www.ecologicalcitizen.net/statement-of-ecocentrism.php> (total signatories now at 475).
