St. Edward’s University/Wild Basin Creative Research Center seeks a highly
motivated, experienced, and accomplished Environmental Education
Coordinator with proven success at executing a full range of environmental
education engagement strategies and programs, including an ability to
interact with participants of all ages and types in a welcoming and
professional manner. The Environmental Education Coordinator will be
responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating all environmental
educational activities and events at Wild Basin Creative Research Center
and Wilderness Preserve in West Austin. This position is currently
grant-funded and will start at a 50% FTE level, with the intention of
increasing to full-time within 12 months. Working hours are at least twenty
hours per week, flexible to accommodate evening meetings and weekend
events. Wild Basin is a unique resource in Central Texas, as an urban
wilderness preserve, research center, and environmental education hub.
