The Department of Biology <http://www.rhodes.edu/departments/biology> at Rhodes College <http://www.rhodes.edu/> seeks qualified applicants for a *one-year *faculty position as Assistant Professor to begin in August of 2017. Candidates must have a Ph.D. in a field of biology and a strong interest in engaging students at the undergraduate level. The person who fills this position will teach Introduction to Environmental Science lecture and lab, an upper-level course with lab for Biology majors, preferably Conservation Biology or a similar course, and participate in either a lecture or lab section of the spring Biology II introductory courses for majors. The Department invites candidates who can contribute to the goal of diversifying our faculty.
