Lecturer, Biological Sciences The Department of Biological Sciences at Eastern Kentucky University is accepting applications for an annually renewable Lecturer appointment beginning August 15th, 2017. Primary teaching responsibilities will include introductory lecture/laboratory courses in biological sciences for majors and non-majors primarily at the Richmond campus. Other teaching opportunities may exist depending on the candidate's interest/expertise and the department's needs. Teaching load is 15 semester hours per semester. Duties may also include coordination of multiple sections of laboratory courses taught by graduate teaching assistants.
Required qualifications include a Master's degree in a related field of instruction from a regionally accredited or internationally recognized institution, as well as experience developing and delivering classroom instruction in a university setting. A doctoral degree in a related field is preferred. Online teaching experience is helpful. Review of applications will begin on March 1st, 2017 and will continue until the position is filled.
