Dear Ecologgers,

The Evolutionary Demography Society is organising two unique opportunities for
researchers interested
in evolutionary demography:

1. An early career award for its members (membership is free, join here
http://www.evodemos.org/membership) who currently are grad students or obtained
their PhD after
2011, and who will be presenting in person a poster/oral talk at the meeting in
2-5 October 2016. The
applicants need not submit any materials in advance, but simply check in the
appropriate box during the
registration; early bird 1 Aug, closed by 20 Aug. More details here:
http://evodemo2016.weebly.com/prizes.html

2. A contest for a new logo and motto to represent the society. Art and its
description are to be sent to
[email protected] by Aug 15th 5pm UK time. The award will be presented
to the winner at the
annual meeting at UVA, 2-5 October 2016. More details here:

Please help us communicate these opportunities among your students and
colleagues!

on behalf of the EvoDemoS governing board
