My department is currently searching for an interim intro biology lab
coordinator and instructor. Applications from those with experience using
and teaching both molecular lab methods and ecological or evolutionary ones

The Keck Science Department, which houses the biology, chemistry,
environmental science, and physics faculty for Claremont McKenna, Pitzer,
and Scripps Colleges (three of the five undergraduate Claremont Colleges),
seeks to fill the position of Biology Laboratory Coordinator, to begin
immediately. The Coordinator will oversee the set-up and preparation of the
laboratory curriculum for the department’s Introductory Biology
laboratories, will manage and train undergraduate teaching assistants, will
work collaboratively with faculty teaching in the laboratories, and will
teach two laboratory sections per semester. This is a one-year, full time
position with the possibility of renewal based on performance and
departmental needs. A Master’s degree in Biology or related
interdisciplinary field is required.
