**Alam Sehat Lestari (ASRI)** is an innovative non-profit located in
West Kalimantan, Indonesia. We are now seeking a conservation manager to
work with us to help protect Gunung Palung National Park -- one of the
biological wonders of the world and home to ~10% of the world’s
remaining orangutans. The ASRI Clinic, and our future hospital, provide
high-quality, discounted **health care** to local communities in
exchange for commitments to **forest conservation**. This work is
supported by a portfolio of conservation and community development
programs designed to target individual drivers of illegal logging in
Gunung Palung.

Your job would be overseeing a team of 10 Indonesian staff members and
the conservation programs they manage which include:

 1. Reforestation of critical orangutan habitat with native tree species

 2. Sustainable agriculture extension work & agricultural product marketing 
 3. Micro-enterprise program for loggers to become entrepreneurs
 4. Goats for Widows/Livestock husbandry 
 5. Conservation education and community outreach

 6. Illegal logging monitoring and GIS analysis
 7. Forest Guardians/Community organizing and capacity building
